Storage Warranty Questions
Storage warranties are read too late, by people standing in front of a fault. This page collects the questions to ask while the quotation is still on the table, when the answers can still change what you buy.
Questions to ask
| Question | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Is the warranty one term, or split by component? | Cabinet products may list panels, inverter, battery system and mounting separately, as the documented cabinet here does |
| Which warranty belongs to the exact model I am ordering? | Terms differ by model within the same family; the lithium battery in this catalogue carries its own stated term |
| What does the warranty ask of installation and use? | Operating conditions and correct installation are commonly part of the deal |
| What is the claim route: who do I contact, and what information is needed? | A warranty is only as useful as the process behind it |
| Are the documents available with the quotation? | Warranty wording should be read before ordering, not after delivery |
Certificates available upon request. The same request logic applies to warranty documents: ask for the wording that covers your configuration, and keep it with the order paperwork. Before ordering, confirm the warranty term for your exact configuration in writing.
Do not compare quotations on warranty length alone. A shorter, clearly written term from a documented product is worth more than a long term with no wording behind it.
